The US Department of War chose SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Reflection, Microsoft, and AWS as its seven AI partners. Anthropic — widely considered a leading safety-focused lab — is conspicuously absent. AWS, a major Anthropic investor, made the list.
