He grabbed the gurney, wheeled it into the room himself, jumped on top of Kirk, cut off the white Freedom shirt with scissors he somehow had, directed medical staff on medications, and then decided — on his own authority — that there were 'enough professionals' so he'd step outside and guard the door. Candace's rebuttal is methodical and devastating: hospitals don't work this way, not even for paramedics, let alone a random civilian.
