Porn starts as naked curiosity at age 11 or 12, then quietly becomes the brain's go-to response for any pain — a bad grade, a rejection, a bad day at work. By the time you're 35, the wiring is so deep it's entirely unconscious. You're not choosing porn; your brain already made the decision.
Quitting porn takes three things working together: understanding you're medicating pain, not feeding a sex drive; a brotherhood of accountability so you realize your struggle isn't unique; and enough neuroscience to understand what the habit is actually doing to your brain. No single lever is enough on its own.
Guys spend their whole lives trying to defeat lust and never get to the harder stuff. Lust is actually the easy one. Once the porn goes, suddenly you're face-to-face with anger, cruelty, emotional unavailability — the vices that were hiding behind it the whole time.
It's not anecdotal anymore. Research is increasingly showing that chronic porn use crushes productivity and output. Your brain spends its best resources on the habit, leaving you sluggish, low-energy, and less capable at work and at home.

A doctor who lets AI write a patient note and gets it wrong is fully liable — it's her medical license, not the AI's. Accountability doesn't disappear just because AI was involved. This clarity already exists in professional licensing law; we don't need new rules to establish it.
