Rob goes to Wikipedia and reads out a 2026 controversy in which Mido claimed on a podcast that magic and mercury and religious figures had influenced Africa Cup of Nations squad selection, leading Egypt's Supreme Council for Media Regulation to bar him from media appearances. Rob concludes the beef is 'fine' and 'a bit like a podcast beef', neatly looping back to the opening Rory Stewart bit. The segment ends with a call for listeners to share the weirdest, nicest things their kids have become obsessed with.
